Today I've been featured on JoyfulAbode.com as part of their series about creative spaces. It was pretty fun putting the photos together and answering Emily's questions about the space i've created for myself. Shout out to my Nico! He's posing with the art. Don't mind the crooked frames... He keeps rearranging them that way no matter how much i try to straighten them!

Daily Headlines 2008 - Set. No 6!

So last week was pretty exciting for headlines...
Super Bowl... Super Tuesday... Super Bowl... Super Tuesday...

Something that I've definitely learned from going through daily headlines from newspapers from around the world, is that the whole world is interested in the race for the leadership of the democratic party.... not so much for the Super Bowl.

This week, I was also excited to start photographing my work using my new lightbox!
Shoot, I can't remember where i got the directions from, but it was a great seller on etsy that had a link to a DIY lightbox blueprint. It has worked out great! Lots of well dispersed lighting... and i even went a bit nuts at the art supply store and bought a tons of paper for backdrops!

Daily Headlines Set 5... Sold!

I was so happy to find out on monday that my Daily Headline Coasters - Set 5, sold after one hour of being on etsy!
Yay! This is the first set sold!

My Love is Strong for Modern Buildings!

Finally here! I've been working on these designs for about a month now and i'm so excited to finally have them up in my etsy shop!

The first set of Modern Buildings is based on just some of my favourites from around the world! Notice the cranes in the Sagrada Familia rendering... That's my fave detail!




The second set is of Modern Buildings in New York City.
Chrysler? check!
Empire State Building? check!
Guggenheim? Check!
UN Building? Check!

I think i'm also noticing my strong attraction to anything Le Corbusier does?!
